Why AI invents confident lies in your client documents

You ask ChatGPT to write a status update for a client. It produces something clean, confident, and professional. It also invented the go-live date, misremembered the budget, and attributed a decision to the wrong stakeholder — all in the same fluent voice as the parts it got right.

This isn't a bug you can prompt your way out of. It's how the tool works.

A general model has no record of your client

ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are extraordinary writers with no memory of your specific engagement.
