Terms of Service
Last updated 17 June 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of consu.ltd (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you’re using consu.ltd on behalf of a firm, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it.
Your account
You’re responsible for your account, your team members’ access, and keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract.
Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and professionally. Don’t upload content you have no right to use, attempt to breach security or rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to generate unlawful, infringing, or harmful material. You are responsible for the content you add and for reviewing any AI-generated output before relying on or sending it.
Your content
You retain ownership of the engagement content you put into the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display it to you and your team, and to generate the documents you request. We don’t claim ownership of your work product.
AI output
consu.ltd grounds drafting in your engagement record and flags gaps as [TBC], but AI output may still contain errors. It is a draft for your review, not professional advice; you remain responsible for what you send to your clients.
Subscriptions, trials & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis per team. New teams start with a free trial; unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and renews until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the current paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (for example Microsoft and Google). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms, and we’re not responsible for their services.
Availability & changes
We work to keep the Service available but provide it “as is” without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, consu.ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, the rights granted to you end and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
